There is lots to tell from where I last left off. The biggest news to have happened started with this decision...
And so one of the biggest adventures I've ever embarked upon began. After accepting my works offer to relocate to North Caroline to expand our Tiny Prints department, life was thrown into a whirlwind of excitement.
The weekend after saying the big "yes" to move, I checked Number 77: go camping, off my list. It was our churches annual camping trip which is always the best time! However, this one was a little bittersweet because I simply adore my church family and my heart will forever be with my sunday school kids. Knowing that I wasn't going to be return after the summer to teach, made my time with my kids, so much more cherished. The weekend was packed full of fun, including bags with Ryan (one of my favorites....but shhhhh don't tell).
Next came a big task to be checked off before heading out of town, Number 33: Finish seasonal painting. Honestly, I think myself and family included, didn't actually think that I was going to accomplish BUT in true Moody fashion with a looming deadline, I cranked them out and I am happy to say that done they are (even if it was the morning I left).
Then came the move...
Let me take just a moment to point out that I put Number 5: Move out of Arizona on my list, with a little hesitation in regards that I was not sure if this would EVER be accomplished. Paired with when I was making my list and my younger sister told me that I should put an asterix next to a few, this included, because I would never cross off, didn't exactly give me much hope.
Well, all I can say is that it was nothing short of God working largely in my life that it all worked out as well as it has. After as much planning as needed, a TON of handy work and time from my Dad, much support from my Mom, a little guilt from my younger sister, a lot of excitement from Hawaii, Lexi and I left Phoenix July 7th to make the trek across the country to end at my new home in Charlotte, North Carolina July 11th. I could not be more thankful for all the encouragement from my entire family and friends and am looking forward to exploring and seeing what this Queen City has to offer.
One ostrich farm, three down pours, four beds, hundreds of ants, and eight state signs later, we made it to Charlotte! Huge shout out to my sister, best friend, and great road tripper for going on this journey with me!
